SyntrAgua - detailed description

A 4-day workshop covering the basic Permaculture Tools for site analysis, basic soil survey, zoning, water management and plant consortiums needed to start your Syntropic Agroforestry system.

The teaching modules will include a theoretical part, with case studies examples and a practical part with relevant techniques and other tricks of the trade needed for preparing and launching a productive project in limited space, either in the countryside or in peri-urban environments.

You will learn to analyze a natural site, to improve the soil conditions with low-cost techniques and to plan for water management. We’ll also focus on how to choose the most appropriate plants for your syntropic system according to your *knowledge, according to your specific climate, soil conditions, availability and needs.

The practical part will cover:

- light earthworks for water management;
- preparing the soil for plantation;
- propagating focus and service plants;
- organizing the work sessions (digging, planting, mulching etc).

Prerequisite skills: basic knowledge of gardening, intro level knowledge of permaculture design.

What you can expect to acquire through the workshop:

- objective criterias for site analysis;
