Keela Permaculture Farm

Keela is a large homestead spanning 18 hectares, functioning as a permaculture farm, off-grid retreat center, and a hub for permaculture education. Established in 2016, it primarily serves as our residence where we live sustainably and in tune with nature.

At Keela, we implement a reforestation initiative, maintain market vegetable gardens, and create agroforests and food forests. Our facilities include a yoga studio, various natural buildings, a cold plunge pool, lakes, and numerous established permaculture systems. Additionally, we have a community center dedicated to permaculture education.

Laurence Manchee resides on the property and is a certified permaculture educator affiliated with the Permaculture Association UK. Beyond his roles as a farmer and educator, he also speaks at permaculture gatherings, contributes articles to Permaculture Magazine UK, and offers local consultancy services.
