Beyond Buckthorns

We moved to Lumia's childhood home from Germany in 2016 and since then we have been transforming the old log house and its three-hectare plot of land according to permaculture principles. We are passionate about fairness, growing our own food (especially fruit trees, herbs, annual vegetables and berries), biogas, sustainable and ecological living, renovating the old house and experimenting in all kinds of ways!

In our blog, we share our projects and our journey into permaculture. Dominik received his Diploma of Applied Permaculture in autumn 2021, and many of his permaculture projects can also be found on the blog. We also have a PDC course and a biogas course coming up in sping / summer 2023.
