Your 12 months for change and growth: Start your journey to permaculture expertise with the annual training 2025
01 – 12 months for you and permaculture
A year full of permaculture design and change! In the annual training programme, you become part of a permanent group and start together in the workshop, which creates the basis for a strong network. Two experienced permaculture designers will support you and your group with online sessions and direct feedback. Your permaculture expertise will grow here - step by step and together with a community that inspires and supports you.
02 – Three times hands-on knowledge on site
Experience permaculture hands-on! In three four-day courses on site, you will deepen your knowledge in areas such as gardening, urban and social permaculture. Learn from experienced permaculture teachers, apply design techniques and discover concrete strategies for your own project. This is where theory meets real experience - and inspires you to find new ways of anchoring permaculture in your everyday life and work.
03 – Joint start and end workshop
Start your permaculture year with a weekend full of exchange and inspiration. In the start workshop, you will get to know your group and build a foundation for your first permaculture project. With targeted content on design principles and areas of application, you create the basis for a strong year. In the final workshop, you will celebrate your personal successes and challenges together with your group - and then look to the future.
04 – Online course in 8 modules
Our online course keeps you on track throughout the year. With targeted tasks and questions, you will immerse yourself in topics such as ‘Observing and appreciating’ and ‘Recognising connections’. Your group meets regularly in moderated online conferences and discusses the tasks and your own projects. In addition, you will receive feedback from your annual training mentors to help you make continuous progress and resolve any ambiguities.
05 – 1:1 tutorial: technical advice, coaching or design support
Personalised support is the key to your success. Choose the right person to help you guide your projects professionally: Whether specialist knowledge, design process or personal coaching - the experienced permaculture tutors will provide you with individual advice and give you valuable impetus for your project and your professional development.
The annual permaculture design training is your 12-month programme to bring permaculture into your everyday life. You will work on your first permaculture project in a focussed, guided and motivated way and get to know yourself in a new way.
