Introduction to Syntropic Agroforestry


From 26 to 28 April 2024, we invite you to an Introduction to Syntropy Workshop, covering the basics of site analysis, soil identification, Permaculture zoning and creating plant consortia to get started your diverse syntropic garden.


The teaching modules cover basic theory, relevant practice and other tricks of the trade needed to prepare and launch a productive project in a limited space, whether in the city or in the countryside.
The activity will take place at the Jardin d'un Notre Monde, 841 rue du 8 mai 1945, Craponne, 69290, Grand Lyon, France.

The practice includes: the process of choosing a site, preparing the soil for planting, propagating focus and service plants and organizing work sessions.

Skills Required: basic gardening knowledge, introductory level knowledge of permaculture design.

What you can expect to gain from the workshop:

- objective criteria for site analysis
- how to prepare the soil for planting
- how to find plants suitable for your needs
- how to plan basic consortiums that match your goal and your conditions
