President of the Permakultura Dalmacija association based in Split.

I have been actively involved in permaculture since 2016, when I completed the Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) course in Split. Over the past eight years, I have collaborated closely with the team at Permakultura Dalmacija, participating as an organizer in numerous activities across various aspects of permaculture. My goal is to connect and engage as many permaculture practitioners as possible to grow our vibrant community. I deeply value the principles of cooperation, knowledge sharing and care for the common good.

As an olive grower, I was initially drawn to permaculture through my search for alternative approaches to food production, beyond the conventional methods. Permaculture ethics resonated with me, and its design principles felt logical, practical, and applicable. While I have implemented the knowledge and tools I acquired on my family olive grove in Kaštela, I have also been particularly inspired by the social dimensions of permaculture and its potential for driving meaningful social change.

In 2023, I earned my permaculture diploma during the Croatian Permaculture Convergence in Križevci, under the mentorship of Gordana Dragičević.

My key areas of interest include promoting permaculture and its design approaches, developing and integrating permaculture education in schools, and training educators to teach permaculture principles effectively. I am especially passionate about urban permaculture and fostering community building.
