Igor Štavlić

Igor Štavlić is the founder and educator at  IGOR, Lifelong Learning Centre in Nature,  which is located on a permaculture farm covering approximately 10 hectares in a rural area of the Republic of Croatia. It is situated in Slavonia, a historical-geographical region in the eastern part of Croatia, in the village of Marindvor, near the city of Požega.

IGOR mainly promotes and implements programs and projects in lifelong learning, personal development, sustainable development, ecological agriculture, peace culture, cultural diversity, community-led development, ecological awareness, development of labor market competencies (digital competencies...), and life skills development.

Our Mission:
Encouraging and co-creating humanity's transition to living in love, health and well-being through Lifelong Learning and action.

IGOR actively participates in various local, regional, national, and international organizations, including:
• The Croatian Chamber of Crafts
• The European Commission Skills Pact
• The Croatian Network for Social Entrepreneurship
• Local Action Groups (LAG) Barun Trenk.

IGOR implements EU projects in the field of education in the roles of coordinator, partner, or external expert.

IGOR activities:
• Education in green and social entrepreneurship, financial literacy, sustainable development, rural tourism, and ecotourism
• Professional development courses for teachers
• Academy of Personal Growth
• Reiki courses (1st and 2nd degree)
• Communication skills and learning skills development
• Permaculture design, natural building, and organic farming courses
• Training for the development of work and life skills
• Promoting lifelong learning and ecological awareness
• Organizing heritage and sociocultural activities and events
• Organizing activities and events related to peace culture and cultural diversity.

IGOR organizes events such as:
• Children's Animation Festival - FEDA
• I Love Marindvor – activities focused on preserving and revitalizing cultural heritage
• Pumpkin Festival and Apple Days – a festival and fair for local organic producers
• Festival of Beautiful Thoughts – expressing human creativity through music, singing, painting, writing, dance, and movement.

We can host participants in our Holiday House AKORD, which is part of the IGOR Center.
