We invite you to the European Permaculture Convergence 2014 in Bulgaria this summer! -- an event designed for the cross-pollination of transition networks throughout our diverse and abundant continent.
5 fun-filled days of learning, laughing and laying in the sun -- enjoying the fruits of our labor to date and discussing the future of permaculture in Europe. This convergence immediately follows the final meeting of the
European Permaculture Teacher's Partnership, an initiative to better spread permaculture education throughout Europe.

Eco-Camping Batak is situated on the picturesque lake Batak in the Rhodope Mountain - one of the most beautiful mountains in Bulgaria and on the Balkan peninsula, covered with centuries old pine forest and many beautiful lakes giving the visitor excellent panoramic views. Available activities include kayaking, swimming, hiking, yoga, contact improvisation and more!
For those of you who do not want to camp,
we offer affordable hotel accommodation nearby with access to their SPA CENTER.OPEN SPACE PROGRAM!
Workshops at the EuPC 2014 will be organized using the "
Open Space Planning" method on the evening of arrival.
The person who proposes a workshop can be an expert on the subject or a novice seeking help and advice. It doesn't matter! It's the interaction and connection that's important. Also, this will facilitate collaboration or organizing a hands-on project at the gathering. Those who
eupc2014 [at] gmail [dot] com (send us) a workshop proposal in advance will be among the first to speak at the forum and reserve a space for their
proposed activity.
WHO'S COMING?
Our musical headliner will be
Charlie McGee and the Formidable Vegetable Sound System. He will be joined by some local acts and other permie performers. Also, in good spirit of Open Space, there will be an Open Mic/Kareoke night as well :)
PRICES
Basic ticket price is 150 Euro, this includes admission to the program, camping, 3 meals a day, hot showers, toilets, wifi and electricity. Souvenirs, snacks, shuttle buses and drinks at the bar come at an extra cost.
You may also stay in a 4-person TIPI by
Earth Song Shelters for an extra 60 Euros (for a total of
180 Euros).
Nearby Hotel Accommodation with access to private bathroom/shower, swimming pool, sauna and spa center for an extra 150 Euros (
for a total 300 Euros)
All prices are set for the period of July 25th to morning of the 30th.Arrival and departure times will not affect the price of tickets.
Children under 4 are free, ages 5 to 18 are half-price.
