The Permaculture Institute of Vale da Lama is happy to have Rosemary Morrow visiting us this April. In two Teacher Training Courses Rosemary will share her 26 years of experience in setting up sustainable systems. These courses are for people who attended a PDC -Permaculture Design Course-. It will enable you to pass on your knowledge and empower others with life-changing skills.
About the teacher: Rosemary Morrow is one of the premier Permaculture teacher trainers. She is known for her pragmatic and effective approach to creating Permaculture systems across an incredibly broad range of environments. With her experience she brings all the qualification to train others in becoming Permaculture teachers. Born in Australia Rosemary has successfully implemented community-scale Permaculture systems in such diverse bioshperes as Uganda, Somalia, Thailand, the Middle East, Bhutan, Australia and northern Europe, to name but a few.
Rosemary has dedicated herself to teaching adults and maintains contact to her own students. Her method is to create a space for active participation of the students. She gives room for sharing knowledge and ideas. Following an informal way to find solutions for serious issues, has motivated many to become Permaculture teachers, as well. This course is a great opportunity for those who seek to become Permaculture teachers.

Quinta do Vale da Lama is a farm of 42ha, situated in the protected area of the estuary of the River Alvor. Located in Odiáxere, a small town between Lagos and Portimão, this space serves as a experimental ground for sustainable techniques and development. In its essence a multifunctional farm, it also hosts Projecto Novas Descobertas, an NGO that works with children and youngsters. The Permaculture Institute on the same property is dedicated to teach how to develop sustainable habitats and communities.
Price: 450 € - includes camping, food and course fees
