23d until the 26th of July
This year, the yearly Spanish Permaculture Convergence will be held in a special place, the eco-village Lakabe. Lakabe can be found in the North of Spain, in Navarra. 40 years ago, on the 21st of March 1980, it was an abandoned settlement which was foundagain by a group of people with a Vision. Today, they are living that Vision and about 40 people live in this regenerated, self-contained community.
Permacultura Íbera, the organizing body of the “CEP” (Convergencia Estatal de Permacultura), the Spanish yearly Permaculture Convergence, is grateful for the opportunity to be able to offer the national Permaculture Designers to spend time in this inspiring place, and looks forward to celebrating their 40 years of existence with Lakabe’s residents. 40 years of voluntary frugality, of setting an example, 40 years of working wíth nature, nót against it. See you in Lakabe from the 23d until the 26th of July!
