BIOTIFUL Farm is a multifunctional farm covering 10 decares (1 hectare), located 20 km from Burgas, near the village of Rosen in Sozopol Municipality in Bulgaria. It is a unique outdoor classroom where people can reconnect with nature, discover its wisdom and ingenuity, and gain a deeper understanding of the relationships that sustain life.
The farm was created according to the principles of permaculture design. Water, soil, plants, animals and people are interconnected within a living ecosystem that follows natural processes. The site includes a variety of natural environments: a wild woodland, a food forest, a pond, a biodiverse fruit and vegetable garden, raised beds, a vineyard, a Japanese garden, a chicken pasture, green and ornamental areas. The buildings and facilities are constructed primarily from natural materials, including the traditional rammed-earth building technique.
Working with children is central to what we do. Through hands-on activities and outdoor learning, they explore natural cycles and develop systems thinking by discovering how soil, water, plants, animals and people are interconnected.
Our mission is to create an educational and transformative environment where children, young people and adults can experience nature first-hand through observation, participation, care and interaction. BIOTIFUL Farm is a project born from our love for the land and our desire to leave the world a little better than we found it — through knowledge, experience, responsibility and connection.
The farm's activities are focused on organized educational visits and activities in nature. At this stage, we do not have accommodation and food options and we are not developing volunteer programs.
