Catalina Project is a water retention landscape and reforestation project led by a group of people focused on regenerating practices working with the land and the local community.
We are based in Southern Spain, with sea views and an easy connection to our village and other local initiatives working towards land care, people care and future care.
We are looking for several volunteer profiles to support our reforestation season:
- Help with implementing new planting strategies. Quite hard physical work on the land and online investigation capacities are required
-Help with data collection and digital/interactive content on our work. Graphic design and digital tools management are welcome and needed.
-Help with resource management such as collecting seeds, processing raw materials and wild foraging
-Help with the establishment of a tree nursery, fruit tree care and propagation strategies. Seedlings, grafting, pruning and tree care experience would be of great help.
We provide room and board during a 3-month stay starting in January 2023, in exchange for 25 hours of work per week.
