Czech permaculture world by Marie Venerová
The Czech permaculture association started a project of ethical investments at the end of 2017. People can invest as little as 10,000 CZK (391 Euro) for 2 years and get a 2 % interest yearly. That enables translation and release of information about permaculture through a publishing enterprise conveniently called the Kompost Press. The Kompost Press has already released the following translated books:
- Permaculture Design Step by Step, by Aranya
- A Research Handbook, originally edited by Pippa Chapman, Rosie Sinfield and Chris Warburton Brown, which is available online and free for download.
Two brochures in Czech, from the edition Key to Self Sufficiency
- How to Handle Permaculture Design
- How to live minimally - recycling, upcycling, and conscious modesty
A fun release before the holidays was a memory game, Pexeso, a popular Czech board game. In this game you are looking for 2 matching pictures amongst 64 cards laid on the table - with the reverse side having identical pictures facing up. In this version, players have to seek pictures with elements you can find in a permaculture garden! One can also use the cards when designing, placing the elements, like an apple tree, on a base map… and so on.
