52 Climate Actions - https://www.52climateactions.com/ - has been launched, and work amongst the European and global partners and wider activity on climate action is continuing to move forward. An Erasmus+ application is being developed for a Community Climate Coaches project, with a core idea that many permaculture educators can be excellent enablers and educators to catalyse positive, action-oriented community climate initiatives, using tools such as 52 Climate Actions and other resources from successful initiatives that have already been run e.g. Cultivate's LEADER funded community climate programmes in western Ireland.
52 Climate Actions is a great resource, from simple understandings to indepth detail and links to further resources. It's all about how to positively tackle our climate emergency through a permaculture design lense, and it's open access for all. Future work hopes to see it translated to Spanish and other languages. IPEN were involved throughout and drafted an outline for community-led Climate Action Training which is available through the website and which has already been successfully piloted in South Australia, linking with David Holmgren's Retrosuburbia training and events.
