SARE: Northeast sustainable agriculture, research, and education

Northeast SARE offers seven grant programs to support sustainable agriculture in the Northeastern U.S. Farmer Grants help commercial farmers test new ideas, while Partnership Grants fund collaborations between agricultural professionals and farmers. Historically Underserved Farming Communities Grants support projects led by and benefiting underrepresented groups. Professional Development Grants train agricultural service providers, and Graduate Student Research Grants fund student-led research. Research and Education Grants support projects that teach farmers sustainable practices, while Research for Novel Approaches Grants explore innovative techniques with high adoption potential.
