Segal Family Foundation supports community-based organizations with the localized knowledge needed to create sustainable change in their communities in Africa. The foundation supports organizations that are at least 1 year old, have fundraised before, and have paid staff and a board of directions. The foundation supports organizations that are led by people who live and work in the community and continuously engage the communities they serve in their own development. Preference is given to innovative and effective work. The funder looks for ambition to grow one's impact.
