European Permaculture Network credential system
The EuPN's digital credential system is the first of its kind. It allows credentials issuing for theoretically any course listed at the EuPN website.
It is currently in the testing phase and been tested by some members of the EuPN.
Verifiable certificates for permaculture education
The EuPN Digital Certification system makes certificates easier to issue, share and verify.
Instead of relying only on static PDF files or paper documents, each certificate is connected to a verification page on the EuPN website. This means that a certificate can be checked online — by participants, teachers, organisers, partner organisations or funders.
The goal is simple: to make certificates more trustworthy, more transparent and easier to use.
Why digital certification?
Certificates are often shared as PDFs, printed documents or email attachments. They can be useful, but they also have limits.
The EuPN Digital Certification system solves this by linking each certificate to a public verification page.
Each certificate includes a QR code and a verification link. When someone scans the QR code or follows the link, they can check the certificate directly on the EuPN website.
