New process for adding events to our calendar

Due to some changes in our team, Volkmar and Leo left, we had to streamline our process of addingt events to our event calendar a little.

In the past our calendar was managed by Leo and Cathrine. With Leo gone we need to make sure that Cathrine doesn’t have to work more.

Our new process is described in our submitting guidlines and involves creating a so called iCal file. Basically you have to use another website to create a certain file that we can then import into the EuPN calendar.

Please make sure that you follow that new process and help us with our work.

Thank you!

Our focus is on urban and social permaculture and how activist permaculture can work for climate justice and building a non-racist society where the permaculture ethic „People Care“ is practised. We will explore soil as the ground we live on and with, as a contested and extracted medium; how practices of soil regeneration connect to how we live together; and how the ethics and principles of permaculture and regenerating soil relates to arts and film practices.

At Applewood we have begun to put together the programme for this year’s Training of Teachers in June. A few places are still places available, so have a look at our website and book your place now!
We use methods for building confidence of the participants throughout, and you will get many opportunities to practice your teaching and facilitation skills and learn through doing. You will give two micro-teach session to put into practice what you have learned, and be able to learn from observing others do the same. The course is fun, lively, interactive and creative. It is fun and inspiring to spend time with a group of dedicated permaculturists who all bring different passions and skills related to permaculture. As one former participant put it, the course is “challenging but empowering. It gave me the courage to be the teacher I know I am.“
